This position involves learning and performing all aspects of professional baseball field maintenance. You will be working directly with the head groundskeeper on a full time basis during the season. This involves pesticide/fertilizer applications, mowing, infield skin maintenance, mound and home plate repairs, equipment operation and maintenance. You will be responsible for leading a crew of three game day employees. The Assistant position will provide you the information and experience to maintain a professional baseball field. This is a seasonal position starting March 2009 through September 2009.
Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work extended hours, one year of sports turf management experience.
