Irrigation and landscape professionals interested in enhancing their irrigation knowledge and skill sets now have 28 event locations across the country from which to choose. Most of the courses are non-manufacturer-specific irrigation training, attracting irrigation professionals interested in improving skills and profitability. The larger Professional Irrigation Training Camp (PITC) events feature a choice of 35 courses over five days, providing landscape irrigation professionals with expert instruction on the latest irrigation products, newest installation methods, best practices in irrigation design, preparation for Irrigation Association tests and cutting-edge business skills. Classes at the Professional Training Camp are also offered in Spanish, enabling even more contractors to participate.
Rain Bird’s irrigation training program has received the Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense Professional Certifying Organization designation. WaterSense’s mission is to protect the future of our nation’s water supply by promoting and enhancing the market for water-efficient products and services.
Both the Professional Training Camp and the Regional Training Camps teach irrigation professionals how to conserve time, money and water through improved irrigation practices. Irrigators will earn a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) from the Irrigation Association for each hour of class attended.
Rain Bird Academy’s Professional and Regional Training Camps have helped thousands of irrigation and landscape contractors expand their skill sets and increase their marketability within the industry.
