WESTERLO, NY—Hannay Reels today announced the company’s comprehensive line of hose and cable reels ideally suited to meet the unique needs of the green industry. Hannay will exhibit these reels at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo in Louisville, Kentucky October 23-25, 2008.
Included are reels for light construction and landscaping applications. Hannay Reels will exhibit in the Kentucky Exposition Center, Booth No. 6006.
Hannay reels made specifically for the green industry that will be featured at the show include the following:
1100 Series Hose Reel
The 1100 Series hose reel is ideal for any industry requiring a compact, sturdy reel at a competitive price. It is strong, yet lightweight, with the ability to handle hose for pest control, lawn care, grounds maintenance, and power cleaning applications.
The 1100 Series is made to handle three-eighths inch or five-eighths inch ID hose, with a maximum length of 275 feet. It will handle product temperatures from +20 degrees Fahrenheit to +400 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 degrees Celsius to +204 degrees Celsius) and pressure to 3000 psi. The reel is a direct crank rewind to the axle. An optional removable crank is available.
E1500 Series Reel
Specifically engineered for long lengths of hose; the compact, lightweight design of the E1500 allows for versatility and the ability to meet special requirements. This reel is ideal for use in applications such as lawn care, pest control, pressure washing, and general agriculture.
The E1500 is equipped to handle one-fourth inch to five-eighths inch ID hose and features an electric powered chain and sprocket drive. It can operate at pressures to 3000 psi and perform at temperatures from +20 degrees Fahrenheit to +400 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 degrees Celsius to +204 degrees Celsius).
E6000 Series Reel
Designed for a variety of power rewind options, the E6000 series reel is versatile and adaptable to fit many applications. Its strong, heavy-duty construction allows for efficient handling of longer lengths of hose.
The E6000 series features either a manual gear-driven crank rewind or chain and sprocket drive powered by an electric, hydraulic or compressed air motor. The standard inlet is a 90 degree ball bearing swivel joint and one inch female NPT threads, with a one inch female NPT standard outlet. Crank rewind reels are supplied with pinion brake and power rewind reels with a comet brake. It operates at pressures to 1000 psi (69 bar), and can manage product temperatures from -60 degrees Fahrenheit to +250 degrees Fahrenheit (-51 degrees Celsius to +121 degrees Celsius).
