TORRANCE, CA—Kubota Tractor Corporation introduces its new BX2660 sub-compact tractor – combining power, comfort and versatility to Kubota’s popular BX series. With a 25.5-horsepower, three-cylinder Kubota diesel engine, the four-wheel drive BX2660 is an all-purpose work machine that can tackle mowing, landscaping and hauling jobs like no other tractor in its class.

Sleek and practical in design, the BX2660 features bright halogen headlights for work from dawn to dusk, along with a sturdy metal hood and fenders. Built for durability and usability, the tractor weighs in at 1,289 pounds and is a modest 95.5 inches long with a category I three-point hitch included. The BX2660 is 44.5 inches wide, and stands 70.4 inches tall. Equipped with a 6.6-gallon fuel tank capacity to complement the power and efficiency of the 25.5 horsepower D1005 Kubota diesel engine, the BX2660 promises excellent fuel efficiency along with day-long productivity and comfort.
As always, Kubota keeps operator comfort top of mind with the BX2660 sub-compact tractor. The BX2660 comes standard with a deluxe reclining seat to help the operator remain comfortable during long projects, and the operator area features standard cruise control, digital tachometer and hydrostatic power steering. The operator deck has been designed for outstanding room and comfort with split forward and reverse hydrostatic transmission (HST) pedals positioned ergonomically to the right.
With simple one-lever loader operation, it has never been so easy to lift so much. The front four-position valve provides quick and easy attachment of front-mounted implements. The performance-matched Kubota LA243 front loader can lift up to 745 pounds at the maximum pivot pin height. Additionally, the front loader’s 48-inch wide bucket has a 4.9-cubic-foot capacity that can be lifted up to 71.3 inches. The BX2660 even allows the loader and mower to be attached simultaneously; making for easy transitions between jobs.
The Kubota BX2660 sub-compact tractor is not only ideal for landscaping and hauling jobs, but can also accomplish mowing tasks of any nature. A 54-inch fine cut, side-discharge mower featuring a 5-inch deep mower deck, along with 54-inch and 60-inch standard side-discharge mowers are available. Each mower model for the BX2660 has a cutting height of one to four inches and can be manually adjusted in ¼ inch increments with the included dial gauge. In addition to front loader and mower attachments, the BX2660 is compatible with a variety of Kubota implements; including front blade, front and rear snow blower and sweeper.
