MISSOULA, MT—Pieces of the turf from UM’s John Hoyt Field in Washington-Grizzly Stadium will go on sale in the Griz Scholarship Association tailgate area on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The GSA tailgate area is near the northwest corner of the stadium.
The turf will be parceled into 2-foot by 3-foot and 4×6 pieces, selling for $30 and $60, respectively.
No orders will be taken over the phone or by e-mail. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Grizzly Scholarship Association.
The school also announced the 10 to 50 yard lines, in 130 square-foot pieces measuring approximately 8.5 feet by 15 feet, will be sold on eBay.
